My commentary was about random thoughts on the bylaws changes, so comments about the Boggs petition in regard to the by-laws were entirely appropriate. Without the Boggs petition we would not even be discussing a by-laws referendum. Rather the Board of Directors, as was the case with EVERY prior by-laws change, would have simply made them without a referendum.

Just because someone isn't aware of OPA history doesn't mean the history doesn't exist or should not be recalled when appropriate to the issue. I'd say any discussion of how OPA by-laws are changed would be totally non-factual without reference to the Boggs petition -- if one were truly interested in the facts and not in making emotional, uninformed comments.
