I think people are just not aware of what is about to happen and when the realization comes.....the feathers are going to hit the fan.......BIG TIME.

I guarantee you that is the case. The loss of a substantial portion of the frontage of White Horse Park for a new FD building along with the required parking and storm water management space has been Board driven by the desire to have the existing FD space for the rehab of the CH. The FD just took advantage of the opportunity and who can blame them.  If there is one thing that is lacking in Ocean Pines it is open space and I find these comments that this section of White Horse Park, where the FD will build, is never used, to show a complete lack of understanding of what parkland is all about.
