Linda, I think your above assumption is premature, particularly in view of Dan S.'s comments on the forum today, which I find to be credible. You might read my response to Dan which I hope you will also find credible. What SPECIFICALLY, did Pete Gomsak accomplish on the B&F Committee to earn your endorsement? Please go to Joe's video library and watch the board meeting held on 1/9/09......that says it all. Also, as Pete Gomsak has been a member of the Food and Beverage Committee, which is inexorably linked to the financial losses of the Yacht Club, it would seem that those committee members may have been part of OPA's problems. What makes you see him as part of the solution? The Food and Beverage group was put together to review the operations because of the losses to try to understand and recommend solutions. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Gomsak and Thompson will be my choices in the coming OPA board election. I believe many association members will come to a similar conclusion after viewing the video.
