Sure, any improvement is good. However, the improvement of about $22,000 in overall losses or profit on some select group of amenities that includes beach parking isn't exactly signaling improvement on operations in terms of more business and more income for our major business amenities. Why? Because that amount is probably less than OPA saved by not paying a full year of the former food service manager's salary. Things are essentially stagnant at this point. Of course Les Purcell bet me the YC would make a profit this year. That would be wonderful. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: OK, now we are getting somewhere. You are using last years numbers. The audited loss for golf and the yacht club in 2007-2008 was -$340,073. That same statement has the the total cost of all business amenities at only a +$17,907 profit compared to this year of +$41,296. So we have enjoyed an improvement of over $23,300 in a year.
