Seems to me your message meaning, if anything, would be to be extremely wary of simply accepting Stachurski's negativity about any candidate.

I think assessments need to be raised gradually, and have always said so, but we need to take care of our business before we go out and spend money on new things.

And Gomsak would probably agree with you.  I tend to agree with most of your comments about the Stachurski boards, and that makes it all the more strange some would accept Stachurski's view of who should be elected this year.

However, as I said previously -- Stachurski is not so concerned about Gomsak as he is that Gomsak would support Rakow on the board and thus possibly undermine the Stachurski/OPEG choice of Dave Stevens to control things. I suppose I overestimated the ability of association members to see what is really behind the Stachurski post. Also, keep in mind Stachurski was on the board that hired the GM.

I could be wrong, but as perhaps the closest board watcher in OP for quite a few years, that's my take. People have short memories.
