For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: if doing so caused you such angst Believe me, it caused me no angst, really. It was just nonsense. We informed the public that we rejected the offer. Simple. Whether the membership learned immediately on this site or on our website on in the local papers is really not too important. Actually, what I suspect you want is a detailed story of why we made the decision, who voted for and against, and lots of rationale. The reasons for the decision are as many as one could think up. Bottom line: it's no longer under consideration. That's should be what the membership wants to know. |
