On the few ocassions that I have ever tried to park there, an attendant was there instructing people where to park.

On July 4th this year, the fellow said..." I have been told that no more Ocean Pines people can park here."

I questioned the fact that there were SO MANY empty spots available and he said he had to follow his instructions. I think his "instructor"  was being a bit harsh since it was early in the day and Seacrets does not start filling up until much  later.

Ocean Pines people usually start leaving the beach in droves about 3:00 PM, so they could have let some more OP people in. There were not that many, but they were all quite frustrated at the situaion.

I find it quite interesting that at just about 3 pm or few minutes after ...it is as if  there is some sort of signal for folks to begin packing up to leave the beach.

If you come over at 3 pm ...there are always places to park.

Since Seacrets can have as much of the OP beach lot as they please at night, it seems they could cut us a bit more slack in the earlier part of the day. They had a whole section that was empty on the north side of the OP spaces on July 4th....just sitting there. Some folks were really fuming about that!
