Linda, The press release was time stamped 12:49 p.m. today...and Joe Reynolds gets them for posting here. I understand he is tied up with some family matters and apparently hasn't checked his e-mail. It's something of an anomoly that the posting made it to the DelmarvaNow website before Joe posted it here...and Rick managed to read it and post a link in short order. Also...it is now posted on the OPA website. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bill: I am curious as to why the members of the OPA have to find out that the BOD rejected the Bayside Property lease in the newspaper. As much interest as there has been by the membership, it would have seemed more appropriate to post it on the website or, how about this - posting a note on www.oceanpinesforum.com, where you know most of the membership that is interested at all about the goings on in Ocean Pines, reads those types of communication. I am glad the lease proposal by Seacrets was rejected; I just question the authenticity of a local newspaper. I would have preferred to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. Regards, Linda |
