OPA sent out a press release today at 2:38 PM. I was in Baltimore so didn't have a chance to post until a few minutes ago. The news release is also posted on the OPA web site under news releases. As for OPA posting to this forum, don't hold your breath, although one of the board members participating here could have done so. This forum is taboo as far as the GM is concerned. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bill: I am curious as to why the members of the OPA have to find out that the BOD rejected the Bayside Property lease in the newspaper. As much interest as there has been by the membership, it would have seemed more appropriate to post it on the website or, how about this - posting a note on www.oceanpinesforum.com, where you know most of the membership that is interested at all about the goings on in Ocean Pines, reads those types of communication. I am glad the lease proposal by Seacrets was rejected; I just question the authenticity of a local newspaper. I would have preferred to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. Regards, Linda |
