Joe: "How about the S&R Club Marina expansion" Great example! Again the entire board almighty was in favor of a new marina at the Swim & Racquet Club in spite of being faced with a petition signed by more than 1,600 members. Again the board almighty used phoney numbers. Again the board almighty ignored our by laws and refused to conduct the required referendum. The board almighty instead held an embarrassing public news conference and ridiculed those members who conducted the referendum petition. For the record, the board almighty lost that one also. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was going to provide a few examples of how the board ignored the membership but figured you would provide at least the one you did. How about the S&R Club Marina expansion, or Mike Borland's attempt to have directors removed by a vote at the annual meeting. |
