I really don't try to be, but in cases like this I guess I get way to cynical, or maybe skeptical is a better word. I don't have a boat anymore,sold it before we moved here, and I don't live near where the new slips would go so it's not like I have an axe to grind. It's just that it doesn't really make much sense to me to do this. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It will be very interesting to see who gets the slips. Well, since there is a current waiting list of about 100 people and there will be about 54 new slips, one would reasonably assume the new slips would go to the first 54 people on that list. The slips are taken before they are built! Those who have slips can keep them for an unlimited time. In another year the waiting list will be at 100 again. |
