As for the importance of golf, if it is so important why aren't more people paying to play. Obviously people don't buy in OP in any numbers because they wish to play golf -- at least not on OPA's course. You might run out of here if the course became a well managed park, but I believe property values would increase.

Golf will cost this community $10 million over the period 2007-2017. I believe that money could be better spent for the benefit of all 8440 association members, and not the relative few who play golf.
