Bill, you make a choice to pay American Legion dues. Association members do not have a choice, the choice is made for them by the board of directors and the management team of OPA. We have a right to expect responsible management of our businesses. Losing 200 300 $500,000 a year on two businesses is not responsible management.
To do so over decades is gross negligence. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bill, this business of trivializing losses of many hundreds of thousands of assessment dollars by dividing by 8440 and then dividing by 52 is pure nonsense Joe, In your opinion it is pure nonsense, but the figures don't lie. My dues at american legion post 28 and VFW mason dixon post is 25 bucks apiece, I have not set foot in either club for a few years so 25 bucks to keep the YC open is a deal. |
