Most times it may be easier to find a parking spot elsewhere as the lot is already way oversold. If I was well-heeled I'd have my chauffer drop me off.... or buy a house on the beach.

Anyway, I can't understand why anyone goes there for the beach. Looks like one of those scenes of a beach in China.

The only time of day that the parking lot is jammed is starting about noon until 3:30 pm. Exactly the time of day when people should be tryng to avoid the sun.    

At about 3:30 pm. it is almost as if a bell has rung somewhere. People begin to stand up, shake off the towels, begin gather up their belongings, take down umbrellas and start the "beach departure" routine. Depending on how much stuff and how many little kids...this can lead to a couple of trips.

After all that happens ......the beach is lovely and there is plenty of room.

After 4:00 pm.....my preferred time.....there is no one there  to look at your parking pass .....so anyone can come into the parking lot....OPA connected or not. So ....we really are giving something to the public" or whatever the law suit mentions.  Actually they can have it for free later in the day.

We always have passes, but the number of times we have shown them to an attendant are few and far between.
