Again what liability does the CPA firm and attorney have for the bad and apparently incorrect advice.
Probably none. Court cases are decided every day. One side wins or loses and I doubt any attorneys or CPAs involved on the losing side are held liable except in rare cases. This was no simple clear-cut tax issue. |
