Remember that at the public hearing we were told, and provided a slide to back it up, that the bottom line performance of our amenities as a whole off set our assessments by a positive $35.00 each. Pure BS! I have just finished reviewing the 2012 audited financial statements for OP and they paint an entirely different picture. Last year our amenities cost each of us $13.36. That is a negative $13,36 before depreciation, I don't mean to be picky but that is a 138% mistake. Just vote NO! Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Prior to voting take in account the need for a second floor on the new building proposed. Based upon the 3 year statistics provided by OP the second floor usage calculates to weekly usage of only 2.78 days. The rest collecting dust? Bigger is not always better. Look at the numbers provided for a turnkey building. I believe the contract is for $3.95 +- million and another $300,000 for kitchen, furnishings, landscaping, etc. and $156,000 for preliminary work. On top of all that, and I can not find where it is included, is the 15% --$585,000 in contingency money. That needs to be included in the amount to be spent. |
