For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I received email alert from OPA at 1:51 pm. I mailed out my notice about the evacuation at 12:42 PM. I posted on the forum message board at 11:47 AM. National Weather Service had it up at 11:10 AM. I saw that and waited for over an hour before my mailing. Why did it take OPA almost three hours to send out an email, and put on web site, from the time it was announced on National Weather Service. Probably no big deal... then again suppose something was immenient. So, I posted at 11:47 AM here on the forum and OPA notification doesn't go out until around 2:00 PM. |
