The tide now is about as high as it should get during this storm, but it is not as high as during a northeaster perhaps 10 years ago. It is lapping over our bulkead. Ten years ago it reached halfway back our lot. This evening should see a tide about the same as this morning, then lower tides -- assuming the National Weather Service is correct.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I looked out our window and saw that the water is the highest it has ever been over our bulkhead. We live in bay Colony. No damage just very high. I hope everyone is safe out there. |
