I posted what I received from the National Weather Service. It made no mention of the parkway, and also at the time of the National Weather Service announcement, nothing about it was on the Worcester web site or the OPA web site.
In fact, there is still nothing on the OPA site at this time, 2.5 hours after the evacuation notice, and OPA has not issued an e-alert since yesterday. OPA dropped the ball on this. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Worcester County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for all waterfront properties in the county. This includes Ocean Pines. In Ocean Pines the mandatory evacuation is only for waterfront properties that are east of the parkway. |
