One possibility might be when its hot, humid and raining, A/c might be a good way to clear the wind shield and get comfortable?! Second, it was available so why not get it? Did you and your brother purchase it recently or a ways back? Do you still have the car? Frank |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My brother and I climbed all over a 57 Chevy convertible that we saw at a used car (sorry, previously owned) lot. It had air conditioning!!!! Why would you ever have a/c in a convertible, we wondered. |
