Hi Nancy,
Marty has already replied to me regarding my post. I was replying to you as you had suggested that $120 went toward the golf course losses. If you include the amount of our assessment that also goes towards deprecation then the total would be more in line with the $120 number. Using that number means the golf course costs us about $10.00 per month. If the golf operations did not lose money but broke even, then the course would cost us about $5.00, per month. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Nancy,I believe in a previous post regarding golf course operations, Marty Clark stated that $64 goes out of our annual assessment to pay for the golf course. If it were the $120 you suggest, that would be $1,012,000.00, based on the approximately 8440 properties we currently have in OP. I believe Marty's $64 is more in line with what actually goes to the golf operation. If Marty's information is correct (I believe it is) then the golf course costs us approximately $5.35, each month per property. Hi Carol, I am not sure where I read that...maybe from Joe? Whatever....I am sure that someone will correct my error. $64 seems too low to me. We'll see. Nancy |
