a serious attempt should be made to figure out what it would take to bring our own people back.
I think the board has been there, done that. When you think about it, the board essentially threw in the towel on any possibility of successful OPA management when it hired Casper. The general policy at this time, so far as I can discern, is that the course must be managed for maximum outside play. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There are plenty of golfers to support the golf course. They just don't belong here because of bad management. They play elsewhere including me. George Hi George, That is what is so sad about this whole situation. We have a lot of golfers who want to play golf, and a beautiful golf cours,. but they don't play at HOME. It seems to me that for the last fifteen years, more and more people have left to play elsewhere and none of the BoDs have taken the time to study....or even care WHY they have left. I am sure that they are many different reasons, but before the course is closed, a serious attempt should be made to figure out what it would take to bring our own people back. Nancy |
