I was just wondering as we love to camp at Trapp Pond. Have you been to Lums Pond. It is just over the DE canal and also has a big pond which is great for kayaking and canoeing. they also hold fishing tournments there. John |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: John, We were not camping. We just drive up and launch from the ramp at the west end of the pond. (There is a fee to be paid at the entrance to the picnic area.) The heron was approximately 1/4 mile from the ramp. We like to paddle up the stream at the east end of the pond. It is completely shaded by the trees and is like entering another world. Dave |
