I'm guessing you have asked them to move the junkers, what is their reply?
How about filing a suit in the court down in Snow Hill, you can do it on your own and if you talk to the clerk of court he will walk you through it and help you word your complaint. A visit to the appropriate county compliance office would also be helpful while down there. Sorry to say but I think you are going to have to do this on your own because for damn sure you aren't going to get any help from OP.....they're all too busy getting ready for the new yacht club opening. Just an aside, if these junkers were parked in a driveway across from the new YC how long do you think they would be there? |

Ed Hickle Today at 10:19 AM To: bthompson@oceanpines.org directors@oceanpines.org Photos 20140517_081721.jpg 20140517_081811.jpg 20140517_081852.jpg Download All As a follow up to my note below I'd like to update status regarding the "eyesores" of vehicles on the lot adjacent to me: - Both of these vehicles have not moved in the 7 years I have lived here. - One has flat tires and the other had large tree branch fall thru the windshield (unrepaired I might add). - I am 99.9% certain that the tags have not been renewed for years. - The vehicles cannot be driven and therefore could never pass any inspection to renew the registration - A county inspector was here yesterday and said they could do nothing as the vehicles are covered. - Eddie Chiles informed me that the OP Compliance staff could take no action as the vehicles are covered. I am just pleading that we use a little common sense in this community and issue a warning/citation whatever to the owner that something positive be done to correct this situation. Attached are 3 pictures of these "eyesores". I have not gotten any response or interest from yourself or any of the directors other than Marty Clarke. Please ..... do something !!
