For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Back in 2005 and 2006 there were probably over 1000 messages posted about this park. There were a number of special board meetings. There were recommendations by the Recs & Parks Committee. There was also a motion passed unanimously by the Board of Directors to clear the five entrances to the park; to mark the five entrances to the park; to survey and clearly mark with plantings the perimeter of the park. The signs were installed. Today Wood Duck Park is not even on a list of OPA parks and none of the five entrances to the park are marked with access signs. Wood Duck Park, as a practical matter, is invisible. |
