Section 4: General Subject: Wood Duck Park Disappears Msg# 897404

Thanks for posting to the forum. There are at least 5 dedicated entrances into Wood Duck Park. One narrow path on each side up close to the water; one on each side about midway. One large entrance at the top of the park where it meets the street.
This is a public OPA park open to all association members, and as of the latest board guidelines of several years ago, open to anyone in the world. Now, I have a difficult time believing this, but after all the ruckus over Wood Duck Park access, it is not shown in the list of parks on the OPA web site. I have no idea why Wood Duck Park is not on the list of parks, but hopefully OPA is not back to playing political games with regard to Wood Duck public access. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What is the current story with the Park area between Golden Eye CT and Heron Isle CT? I saw it from the water but is there access from the street? What is it available for use for? I was thinking about walking there (from a home nearby) and then fishing from shore. Thanks |
