Section 4: General Subject: Wood Duck Park Disappears Msg# 918203

Hi David,
Wood Duck park is an Ocean Pines community park. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. When I was on the Board I made sure that the openings were marked. I live in Wood Duck I and felt that since everyone was paying for the upkeep etc. that all should be welcome to utilize it. The easements are clearly marked on the map of Wood Duck. There has been past attempts to pretend that it doesn't exist , and it appears like it has happened again. I understand that the crabbing pier's residential area makes it difficult for access to it. Not allowing parking etc. which I feel is wrong to try to make it difficult to get to, since we all pay to have it maintained. All the so called reasons why they should be limited to the people who live in close proximity is bogus. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What is the current story with the Park area between Golden Eye CT and Heron Isle CT? I saw it from the water but is there access from the street? What is it available for use for? I was thinking about walking there (from a home nearby) and then fishing from shore. Thanks |
