As a resident of Boston Dr, I'd prefer NOT having those trees torn down. Much more natural the way it is. And conforms to the ambiance of the neighborhood.
IMO theres nothing wrong with occassional cars parked along that area, while folks are occasionally kayaking. And I'd be against spending association $$ to impinge upon that natural tree-filled area, by tearing down those trees. No thank you. Call it NIMBY. Take your suggestion elswhere. Nancy, As one who objects to the impingement of trash cans on the neighborhood ambiance, you should be sympathetic to leaving those trees alone. benefitting the ambiance of Boston Dr. Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Nancy: "All you need for kayaking is some firm sand ....and some water....and a path to get there" And, if not within walking distance, a place to park your car, Marty Yes...of course. And there is ONE decent spot at Wood Duck where there is space to park just a few cars. There is a vacant lot at the end of the court, and that works just fine. It is too bad that we cannot have the "unbuildable lot" (so we've been told ) on Boston Drive right next to the launch spot. It could be a parking spot. That lot is deep and heavily wooded ..so could be used without upsetting neighbors as cars would be out of sight down close to the water. As it is now...people just park on the street. Nancy |
