Once upon a time MOCO wanted to create a path to a park up behind my property so, I planted rose bushes, never heard from the county again. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Using the example of your property, how would you feel if OPA somehow converted the five foot utility easement down the side of your house to a pedestrian access easement for the golf course? False premise. The two five-foot easements into Wood Duck Park, unlike normal utility easements, were created specifically for pedestrian access to the park. That is what the four access points between homes are. Not entirely. Only two of the five access areas are five-feet. The two at the mid-point on each side are 20-feet as I recall. What you are apparently forgetting is that the OPA Board of Directors passed a motion that staff would open all access points, mark those access points with appropriate signs, and would line the interior of the park with shrubs to denote the area of OPA owned property, etc The one access point at the head of the park which is used by the maintenance vehicles is OPA owned. Even this no longer has a sign. The 4x4 post and sign were removed. I suspect lit was removed by staff. |
