Wow,now that I think about it, we had a Studebaker and Rambler dealer in my hometown:Damascus,Md.The dealer gave me an old Rambler for a car bash at the High school.
Well, after we beat the car to death for a buck a whack I couldn't get any junkyard to take it. The car sat in front of the school for a week before I could get someone to tow it away. The principal was mad at me!!!!! But I had a lot of bright ideas in High School... I think it cost more to tow it away than we made.....Steve |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Visited the museum in South Bend, Indiana, home of the Studebaker Company and their factory. Very interesting, these look like they came straight off of the floor. I found out that they built over half of the trucks used in WW II Image below from GailPhilippi - Image Title: photos Image Info: Some of the Studebaker trucks that were on display at the 2008 International Meet. |
