Rich,
Check out HMS Home Warranty at www;.myhmswarranty.com I have their warranty in my new home. It was purchased through the realtor for me by the seller but they do sell direct. If you have a problem as I did, there is a $100 fee (or copay) to diagnose the problem. Once it is determined that it is a covered item it is repaired or replaced. My problem was with a defective condensatre drain on my heating system. I had a little difficulty getting them to understand the nature of the problem. Condensate leaks are not generally not covered. But between myself and their contractor that inspected the problem, we got them to understand that the water separator that was defective is an integral part of the heating system. The part was promptly replaced at no additional cost. Norm |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Has anyone had any experience with any Home Warranty companies? Purchased our home here almost 2 years ago, and it is now almost 15 years old, with all original appliances, heat pumps, how water heater, etc.. Considering a company called Total Protect, but wondering if anyone had experiences with them or any other Home Warranty company. |
