Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Stevens Shatters His Board Majority Msg# 912977

What happened is that OPA president Dave Stevens, leader of a four person majority that elected him president, came to a board meeting with a motion to create a special committee to look into "lessons learned" during the entire new YC process.
When it came time to vote, two of his majority, Collins and Renaud, voted against the Stevens motion. It was the first indication the majority did not know how to handle their majority. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: When Clarke and Stevens wanted a committee to look into lessons learned in the YC project, Collins and Renaud went with the other side. He who fails to acknowledge past mistakes is destined to repeat them. Sounds like OPA to me. |
