I do not know of any such meeting either first or second hand.
Well, it was widely reported, especially by Tom Stauss. One thread in the forum had about 450 posts in it. Tom Terry went to meet with Steen about his threat to take the golf course issue to referendum. What other board members went with Terry, I don't know. I thought maybe you knew. Steen is keenly interested in the golf issue; surely you know that. I believe he or his group even paid for a two-page ad in the Progress supporting Stevens and Renaud, apparently seeing them more aligned with his views on golf than the other candidates. As I recall, that was the ad containing quotes from Dave Stevens that upset Pete Gomsak. Of course all this political posturing starts to run together after awhile. |
