but I did not hear anything offensive being said by Mr. Cordwell
Cordwell in his public comments refers to "improprieties" by Landscapes Unlimited. Do you know anything about the nature of these improprieties Cordwell accuses LU of? If I were the owner of LU, I would find Cordwell's totally unsupported and public accusations of improprieties very offensive. Is it now not offensive to make public accusations of improprieties by a person or company with absolutely no supporting facts? Heck, even the GM was smart enough to not do that. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Had an opportunity earlier today to review the video of Mr. Cordwell's comments as a property owner, before the board this past Thursday. Perhaps I missed some of his comments, but I did not hear anything offensive being said by Mr. Cordwell. Rather, his comments seemed to be focused on his belief (as a board member) that the board as a whole had not accomplished a thorough process in vetting LU prior to choosing them as the company to negotiate a management contract. Listening to Mr. Cordwell's comments I came away with the belief that his position was for OP to move back to self management and eliminate the approximately $80,000 that would be paid to a new management company. I don't think he was backing Casper, at least that's not what I heard him say. Seems that he believes the real problem with our course in previous years was the condition of the course. Now that that has been corrected he seemed to believe OPA was in a much better position to continue improvements to increased membership and play.
