For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Obviously they are terminating the relationship at the end of April. My guess is you know what I meant. That would certainly appear to be the intent. However, should contract negotiations fail with LU, as the GM and three board members are pushing for, then Casper could well be back. Who says they want to work for LU or OPA and are not leaving with Casper? Well, anything is possible but there are only three individuals whom some golfers seem concerned about and they live here and one is raising a family here. Most likely they would wish to remain rather than pack up and move someplace else. There is no assurance, however. Of course when Casper was hired, after a monumental and mind numbing due process producing 240,000 pages of documentation (to mock Cordwell's public comments) they fired nearly everyone with any experience in maintaining the course and have never, absolutely never, come close to meeting their own budget projections. If the hiring of Casper was the OPA perfect example of due process and how it is important, then we better go back to the drawing boards. |
