For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: King was a GREAT dog and yes deserved a plaque somewhere for all he did for kids and folks in nursing homes. I appreciate that George. King did earn his share of plaques over his years doing therapy work but my favorite memorial was an oil painting done by my sons mother in law in Erie shown below that now hangs in the administration office at Showell Elementary school where he was the reading dog for many years.
