Wonder if he still crabs there, I think there are about 1,000 traps between the OP marina and the 90 bridge in April and May
Based on the photo Caption it seems the crabber in question works the Deal Island area of Chesapeake Bay. Image Info: Waterman Dave Webster, from Dames Quarter near Deal Island, has relatives Elizabeth and Andrew helping out by painting the buoys on 1,000 crabpots. hardshell season opens April 1 and Dave a peeler crabpotter will set his pots towards the end of April. |
