Wonder if he still crabs there, I think there are about 1,000 traps between the OP marina and the 90 bridge in April and May
They are Dave Webster's traps and yes he does. Unfortunately, since a waterman's license allows them to go anywhere in Maryland, we get crabbers from other places such as Crisfield, in the Spring as the crabs come in earlier here than in the Bay. If you are interested I spent a day on the water out of Deal Island with Waterman Webster and Joe edited my photos into a day in the life of a Crabber. CrabbingWithCapt.Dave |
