They seemed to have some input to the Board but were not official.
On the contrary, they were official committee members. I recall the Stachurski board voting to accept the entire group of Golf Governors (they were selected by the golf membership as I recall) to be the official Golf Advisory Committee. Reid Sterrett was liaison to the governors when he was on the board. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There was a group called the golf governors I think, To the best of my knowledge they had no official OPA authorization or charge by the BOD. Thanks Marty. I now remember that it was the golf governors. They seemed to have some input to the Board but were not official. |
