I assume you mean that one can drive to various trails. A continuous walk looks difficult to do as the trails do not connect.
That is a pretty nice map but a little hard for me to decipher. I couldn't tell if any trails in the Parke were on it. I'd like to see the trails get some attention. There are a couple spots where you feel like you are trespassing on private property where you almost brush against a house. The lack of maintenance and the absence of complaints about it tells me that the trails have pretty much been abandoned for all practical purposes and mother Nature is reclaiming them. Jack, I feel that Boise bequeathed OPA a fine planned community with nice amenities and it is time for us to step up to the plate and fund them. The save-a-buck crowd will always be with us and deserve to be ignored for the cheapskates they are. As for the anti YC folks, I brought out of town family there for family fun night last summer and they were mucho impressed with the facility. It is an imposing edifice and does not look like it was done on a shoestring budget, split block and all, which many might pass off as a regional thingee. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Walking trails exist all through the pines. You can walk from the north gate to the south gate on them and you will be as alone as if you were on the Appalachian trail. I assume you mean that one can drive to various trails. A continuous walk looks difficult to do as the trails do not connect. |
