That's a real helpful answer, but meanwhile I, along with thousands, yes thousands,  of other OP residents, subsidize your play activity. So this means you're a charity case, how does it feel to know that we're paying your way? Just a different form of welfare and/or income redistribution to put it in political terms. Hope it makes you proud. I'm happy to help the needy, but not the greedy.

And just for good measure, on a golf course one doesn't "ask" to play through, one is "invited" to play through. Kind of like when someone is behind you going through a doorway, a courteous person holds the door and invites those behind them to pass through, they say "Thank you" and you respond "My pleasure".
