Spray irrigation would save the drinking water that the golf course uses for irrigation each year and eliminate a ton of nitrogen from entering the St. Martins River.
Is there some shortage of drinking water that should concern us? Any nitrogen from the OPA plant is probably not even measurable compared to what enters the river from farm fields. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Why on earth would you want to propose spray irrigation when we have already paid for what is perhaps the finest sewage treatment plant in the state? You are suggesting a solution where no problem exists. Well that depends on ones point of view.
