Must be careful here. My understanding is the Eagles operating budget is close to $2million for all elements of the course. They may be happy breaking even but it appears they are doing much better than that. They have about 40000 rounds/year so that works out to grossing about $85/round which seems a little high to me, but the restaurant and merchandise, especially for outings, is pretty significant. Based on my nosy observation, the average food/drink tab is around $15 so that's likely half a million right there. And the staff is pleasant, the food really good and the "atmosphere" leaves The Tern Grill in the dust ( no pun intended ) |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The last time I was told of the revenue by OC Staff, it was about 3.4 million for 2014 Total audited golf revenue for OPA golf in 2014 was $1.2 million. That included about $300,000 of food, beverage and merchandise revenue. If OC is doing $3.4 million and barely breaking even, it shows the extent of our structural problem. |
