So long as the bottom line is improving I don't particularly care about all the other politically oriented stuff. And that is all there is, really.

It is my opinion that had the BOD continued the Casper contract, the bottom line would have continued to improve and could have perhaps been even better now than LU has been able to produce.  

Pure speculation, of course.

My position, along with your position a year ago, was to give Casper one more year to continue improving the bottom line as Casper had significantly cut course losses.  BOD members Stevens, Collins, Clarke and Renaud thought otherwise.  Time will tell if they were right.      

Time will not tell as we have no way of knowing what would happen if Casper remained.

This is why it all comes down to bottom line, assuming maintenance, etc. is done properly.

Keep in mind that due to terrible board planning over the years, OPA will have more course reworking for golf drainage work. No one is even talking about it for political purposes on both sides, but they know what is on the horizon.
