As much as I bitch and moan about the money spent on the course and the non stop losses it would be a shame to close an iconic "old school" course like ours. I think the answer is a triple net lease for $1.00 a year, let a professional operator make money or lose money depending on the marketing skills and connections they have. We can't continue to bleed money for the benefit of 150 members or less and I don't think LU can get the membership numbers back up no matter how hard they try. It's time for a different approach and leasing it to another operator seems to make the most sense. The million dollar question is how do we get the Board and GM to start aggressively looking for an operator on a lease? | ||||||
