Who cares about other restaurants and whether or not they offer food from a food truck. Many of the YC customers who come for the YC music found the outside food offering a plus and utilized that resource. They did not have to wait to be seated at a table and then order food through a waiter, and they did not have to place an order for food through the outside bar. They simply went to the outside food setup, purchased what they wanted and took it back to their seat. It was convenient and easy. That's why it was popular.
