It would seem reasonable but for the health concerns of the county...they used to do that up at the beach club but I haven't seen it done there in a number of years...you would think there would be some reasonable work around ... While I can see the possible use of the food truck in other areas and events in OP I do think it is generally unnecessary and possibly a cost and a risk to OP and just one more thing to be mismanaged.. the gm and staff have more important ways to use resources and time. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I thought the Food Truck idea was to cook/grill food outside because the YC was not able to do that after a couple tries on the Terrace last summer? I was told they had to stop because of the County regulations. Can't we pay for whatever we have to to put a grill by the water by the YC and cook hot dogs, hamburgs there? They had a canopy set up last summer for the couple nights they did it, and it looked fine and was a convenience without having a waitress. How much could it cost to get the permit/license and a commercial outdoor grill???? |
