The numbers are more or less speculation. There are no bids. In fact, OPA does not even know what it wants in the way of IT. The numbers are just meaningless placeholders. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, As one of the 10 or 20 who actually review the budget, I found it interesting that if you look across all the departments at IT / technology related expenses (as determined by the description on the budget line item) one will find $149,200 slated for operational expenses and $216,000 for capital expenses. At some point I will be interested in getting a breakdown of these costs as well as a comparison to actuals from FY2015-2016 for the same expense category. As stated previously, I'm just trying to educate myself on how OPA conducts some of its business requirements. Doug |
