Which Board Member made this statement and, in what context did he make such statement?
A board member whose first and last name begin with the same letter. Context? Me -- "I understand the GM has proposed a food truck in the budget. Will the truck be able to accept credit cards for payment?" Board Member -- "I don't know and am not concerned with any details. If our in-house experienced people say this food truck is a good idea, that's good enough for me." The board member either actually believes it is a good idea to sell $5 hot dogs from a food truck parked in front of a new $5 million Yacht Club restaurant and catering facility, or he is willing to blindly accept the recommendation of the GM with no interest in any details. Or both. |
