rosenfelds jewish deli in oc has a food truck, great menu, 'unique' food. he lives in OP, I contacted him and posted his response on this site and now I can't seem to find the posting. anyways, i'll distribute copies of the email to the board members at the meeting thurs. basically, he makes the point that the yc plan is doomed to be unprofitable. (but why should the gm worry about profit when he can pick the pockets of the property owners.) |

THE GM IS STEALING MY IDEA AND I WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT! Hi Robert, I agree that food trucks are a good idea for a place that can't, or doesn't want to provide good food, but there are not enough super duper food trucks in the OC area to provide food for our Yacht Club. If they can't make good food in our nice kitchen, why would anyone want to have them make food and carry it outside to a truck? Is it going to taste better outside..and we would have to stand in line to wait for it? We had a food truck come to a Silver Spring neighborhood event in the fall, and everyone was very happy. The Food Truck guy made a lot of money, people loved the food, and we didn't have to prepare it or do much cleaning up at all. I think this OP thing must be a JOKE. I hope. Nancy |
